Day Porter
About The Position
Pro-Serv Commercial Cleaning, part of Marsden Holding Company, is hiring a Day Porter in the Henderson, Nevada area. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and servicing business facilities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at an hourly rate of $13. Jobs are classified as essential. The position includes emptying and transporting waste and recyclables, cleaning floors and restrooms, replenishing supplies, and following safety procedures. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to speak English for safety reasons.
- Must complete a pre-employment criminal background check.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and sometimes more.
Nice To Haves
- General cleaner experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and transport them to the disposal area.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors using brooms, mops, or manual or backpack vacuum cleaners.
- Scrub, wax, and polish floors where required.
- Stock and replenish supplies.
- Follow safety policies and procedures, including locking doors, using proper chemicals, and reporting incidents.
- Clean restrooms.
- Take out the trash.
- Sanitize facilities.
