About The Position

KleenMark is hiring a Day Porter to maintain the cleanliness of a medical facility in Madison. The role involves a range of cleaning duties, which may vary based on the building’s size and the number of teammates working there. Duties may also change during employment, and additional responsibilities may be assigned. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, on first shift. The listed pay is $16. Travel is not required. Employees working in medical facilities must wear a mask and gloves throughout their shift; necessary personal protective equipment is provided.

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect restroom sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors; replenish bathroom supplies and polish metal fixtures and fittings.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; perform other floor work as required, including scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
Clean and disinfect break room or kitchenette sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, and refrigerators; replenish supplies.
Dust furniture, equipment, and partitions.
Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and transport waste to the disposal area.
Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a hip or backpack vacuum cleaner.
Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and sills.
Report to work each day on time and work extra hours when needed.
Follow required safety policies and procedures, including safe use of cleaning chemicals and reporting incidents.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers while maintaining a positive attitude.
Assess the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.
