About The Position

KleenMark is hiring a part-time Cleaning Technician in Madison to maintain the cleanliness of a medical facility. Duties and hours may vary based on the size of the building and the number of teammates. Tasks may change during employment, and additional duties may be assigned. The position is Monday through Friday, from 6 PM to 10 PM, at $15 per hour. Travel is not required. The technician cleans and disinfects restrooms and break rooms or kitchenettes; replenishes supplies; sweeps, mops, vacuums, and may scrub, wax, or polish floors; dusts furniture and equipment; and empties and transports waste and recycling. Other work may include cleaning rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture, and washing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and sills. The employee is expected to report to work on time each day, work extra hours when needed, follow safety policies and procedures, provide positive customer service, and ensure assigned work is neat, accurate, and thorough. Employees working in medical facilities must wear a mask and gloves throughout their shift; necessary personal protective equipment is provided.

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and restroom floors.
Replenish bathroom supplies and polish metal fixtures and fittings.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and, as needed, scrub, wax, or polish floors.
Clean and disinfect break-room and kitchenette sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, and refrigerators.
Replenish break-room supplies.
Dust furniture, equipment, and partitions.
Empty wastebaskets and recycling and transport them to the disposal area.
Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, including a hip or backpack vacuum.
Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and sills.
Report to work on time each day and work extra hours when needed.
Follow safety policies and procedures, including those for using cleaning chemicals and reporting incidents.
Provide positive customer service to internal and external customers and ensure work is neat, accurate, and thorough.
Wear a mask and gloves throughout the shift when working in a medical facility.
