Cleaning Technician-Madison-71610 (Madison Operation Medical)
About The Position
KleenMark is hiring a part-time Cleaning Technician for a medical facility in Madison. The technician maintains building cleanliness by completing a range of cleaning duties, which may vary based on building size, staffing, and operational needs. Responsibilities can include cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and break rooms, replenishing supplies, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, dusting, emptying waste and recycling, and cleaning carpets, upholstery, walls, woodwork, windows, and other surfaces. Employees working in medical facilities must wear a mask and gloves throughout their shift; necessary personal protective equipment is provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., for 20 hours per week, at $15 per hour.
Requirements
- Comply with applicable safety policies and procedures.
- Wear a mask and gloves throughout the shift when working in a medical facility; required PPE is provided.
- Report to work on time and work extra hours when needed.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect restroom sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, and other surfaces; replenish bathroom supplies and polish metal fixtures and fittings.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; perform additional floor care such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing when required.
- Clean and disinfect break room and kitchenette sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, and refrigerators; replenish supplies.
- Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, and other surfaces.
- Empty wastebaskets and recycling and transport materials to the disposal area.
- Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, including hip or backpack vacuums.
- Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and sills.
- Report to work on time and work extra hours when needed.
- Follow required safety policies and procedures, including safe use of cleaning chemicals and reporting incidents.
- Provide positive customer service to internal and external customers.
- Assess the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.
