About The Position
The Arc Erie County NY is a leading nonprofit supporting people with developmental & intellectual disabilities across Western New York, through innovative residential, educational, clinical and employment services. We are currently hiring a Day Habilitation Manager to help lead daily programming that supports individuals in developing skills, building relationships, and engaging in community life.
Requirements
- Experience in human services and a passion for helping others succeed.
- Bachelor’s degree + 1 year experience OR Associate’s degree + 2 years’ experience OR High school diploma + 5 years’ experience
- Valid NYS Driver’s License with approved driving record
Responsibilities
- Guiding our Direct Support Professional (DSPs) staff as they support program participants
- Helping organize community-based activities
- Monitoring progress and service delivery
- Maintaining a safe and supportive environment
- Working directly with individuals in programming activities
