About The Position

The Salvation Army’s Lowell Corps. is hiring (2) Day Camp Group Leaders to work with the Day Camp Director to conduct in-house Summer Day Camp program. This is a part-time position with a total of 30 hours per week, running from July 21st – 26th and August 4th – 7th. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to relate well with children and adults. Requirements

• DPH qualified and/or BA degree in Early Childhood Education or have a Child Development Associate.
• Must have First Aid and CPR training.
• Minimum of six months experience working or volunteering with school age children.
• Must have experience with Christian Education Programs for school age children such as Sunday School or Vacation Bible Study.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Day Camp Director to conduct in-house Summer Day Camp program.
• Plan, prepare and implement the day-to-day activities.
• Lead devotional time on a rotation basis.
