About The Position

ServiceLink, a top provider in the mortgage services industry, is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a solid work history in the mortgage or real estate industry to join their team as a Date Down Processor. Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in the title insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of foreclosure documents and how they affect title.
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain quality standards.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, especially the ability to meet tight deadlines for clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of the foreclosure process.
  • Operational knowledge of software systems used to run property (PI) & name (GI) chains.
  • Good customer service, written and verbal communication.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to use and have good computer skills.
  • Knowledge of computer title plant software search engines such as DataTrace 2, Data Tree, TitlePoint, and Timms required.

Responsibilities

  • Search & review property chains via computerized systems to compile information for date down search.
  • Retrieve and examine PI & GI chains, and documents for accuracy.
  • Check borrowers, junior beneficiaries or person with any interest in PIQ for Bankruptcies.
  • Upload results compiled to TM.
  • Communicate with clients via phone and email.
  • Analyze property chains and general indices carefully to eliminate unnecessary information.
  • Communicate effectively with trustee/client, Examiner, Title Officer, or Chief Title Officer when discrepancies arise.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
