About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Database Marketing Coordinator is to support the Casino Marketing team in maintaining the data warehouse and ensuring the accurate and timely execution of casino offers. This role requires providing outstanding customer service, working knowledge of Microsoft products, and the ability to build and manage email campaigns. The coordinator will also be responsible for creating and maintaining direct offer calendars, proofing various offer formats, and collaborating with internal departments and external vendors. Maintaining confidentiality, supporting the proofing and auditing process, and ensuring data integrity are crucial. The role also involves troubleshooting, maintaining office integrity, and ensuring compliance with internal control standards. A positive image of the Tribal organization must be presented, and all safety policies must be followed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a related field or a combination of experience and education.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office products.
  • Must pass periodic random drug screens.
  • Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
  • Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems or Casino Player Tracking systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Casino Marketing team in maintaining the data warehouse.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of casino offers.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests and employees.
  • Build email campaigns in the Email Service Provider (HubSpot, Optx, or Ipost), including template setup, content population, and link configuration.
  • Perform pre-send reviews of all emails, checking art, proofing data, verifying links, and obtaining approvals.
  • Conduct email sends and provide ongoing reporting to requesting departments.
  • Create and maintain direct offer calendars, ensuring all necessary items are present before deployment.
  • Proof direct offers in all forms (lists, variable data, artwork) to maintain accuracy and appropriate guest communication.
  • Work with internal departments to assist with messages sent via email and direct mail.
  • Pull, proof, update, and finalize direct offer data lists for offer/message deployment.
  • Work with external vendors (printers, email service providers, agencies) for Database Marketing tasks.
  • Communicate with team members and customers as needed to explain offer changes or details.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Support the proofing and offer auditing process for email and direct mail campaigns.
  • Ensure data is run and reviewed before and after uploading to the casino system.
  • Monitor and respond to internal emails sent to the department in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot areas, place service calls, and keep management informed of critical situations.
  • Maintain office integrity.
  • Complete production and special assignments as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) and Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
  • Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to guests and vendors and assist them as required.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
