Description We are seeking a Database Engineer that will provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis. Develop or maintain database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system. Create new workflows to take over existing processes as needed as well as provide break/fix requests or updates. Lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software. Support the development and test of various Python based ReST end points, microservices, and data model management capabilities utilizing Django and Flask frameworks to interact with data models such as mariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL and send data upon request, in JSON format, to UI front ends. Support the development of long and short-term requirements for database administration and design

Requirements

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional DBE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases to include but not limited to Oracle, Postgres, Mongo and Redis.
Experience with SQL and the associated tools (SQL Developer, etc…)

Responsibilities

The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $100,000 - $150,000.
