About The Position

Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for an experienced Database Engineer to join their rapidly growing team! This role involves performing routine database maintenance such as backups, indexing, and performance tuning. You will troubleshoot and resolve database issues like performance bottlenecks and connectivity problems, and monitor database systems for high availability and performance. The position also requires implementing and maintaining database security, including access controls and patching, as well as writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers. Collaboration with other teams to integrate database systems with applications and documenting database configurations, processes, and architecture are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in DBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle , or MS SQL Server.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud database services.
• Experience with scripting languages for automation.
• An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Last Poly within past 7 years.
• BS + 10 years experience (for Level 2)
• BS + 15 years experience (for Level 3)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine database maintenance such as backups, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues like performance bottlenecks and connectivity problems.
• Monitor database systems for high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain database security, including access controls and patching.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.

• Document database configurations, processes, and architecture.
