About The Position

Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for experienced Database Engineers to join their rapidly growing team! This role involves performing routine database maintenance, troubleshooting and resolving database issues, monitoring database systems, implementing and maintaining database security, writing and optimizing SQL queries, collaborating with other teams for integration, and documenting database configurations and architecture.

Requirements

• Proficiency in DBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud database services.
• Experience with scripting languages for automation.
• An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Last Poly within past 7 years.
• BS + 5 years experience (for Level 2)
• BS + 10 years experience (for Level 3)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine database maintenance such as backups, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues like performance bottlenecks and connectivity problems.
• Monitor database systems for high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain database security, including access controls and patching.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate database systems with applications.
• Document database configurations, processes, and architecture.
