About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Primary L3 SAP Technology Architect position for our client. This is a remote, 6-month contract role with possible extension. The position involves providing L3 technical support and architecture for enterprise SAP database and application environments. Key responsibilities include designing and supporting database backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions, configuring and maintaining database auditing for SAP HANA, SQL Server, and Oracle, and reviewing and remediating database-related CVEs and security vulnerabilities. The role also includes automating and supporting SQL Server patching using WSUS, designing, implementing, and supporting SQL Server Always On and clustering environments, and providing infrastructure support for JDA (Blue Yonder) Supply Chain applications. Additional duties involve managing SQL Server media access, development volumes, and repository maintenance, performing Azure Portal DBA activities, supporting CyberArk/ARS security and access management initiatives, managing SQL Server security, access, and compliance, and maintaining Oracle Metalink access and media repositories. The architect will also troubleshoot complex L3 issues, provide root-cause analysis and sustainable technical solutions, collaborate with various teams on architecture and operational initiatives, and develop technical documentation and recommendations aligned with enterprise standards.

8+ years of experience in database administration, technology architecture, application infrastructure, or a related field.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle.
Experience with enterprise database backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Experience with SQL Server Always On, patching, security, and vulnerability remediation.
Experience supporting Azure database environments and enterprise security platforms.
Experience providing L3 support in complex enterprise environments.
Ability to collaborate effectively across database, infrastructure, application, and security teams.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

Relevant SAP, database, Azure, or security certifications are a plus.
