About The Position

Computer World Services, Corp. (CWS) seeks a Senior Database and Application Support Engineer to support database availability, application operations, service restoration, component upgrades, and recovery validation for the USMEPCOM ENLIST program. The role diagnoses outages and operational issues across database, application, middleware, server, network, cloud, and security components. It coordinates with enterprise IT operations and software teams when resolution requires infrastructure work or code analysis, focusing on production support, integration, recovery, and testing rather than primary application development. The position is remote, with Chicago, Illinois–area candidates preferred. After-hours work may be required during outages, deployments, maintenance windows, upgrades, and recovery activities. The role requires an active Secret clearance or higher. The contract period is March 1, 2027, through February 28, 2033, with a contract start date of March 1, 2027. Applicants acknowledge and consent to having their résumé included in an active competitive Government contract bid. The posted salary range is $150,000–$180,000 per year. The offered rate depends on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience, and on internal parity. CWS is an affirmative action and equal employment opportunity employer and provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities.
