As a database administrator who specializes in SQL databases, you know how to manage and secure database technology. At Booz Allen, you can use those skills to improve the database technology supporting public health. On our team, you’ll build and maintain database systems, look for ways to implement database tuning and performance optimization, and design and develop databases, queries, and other solutions to support a large and collaborative software development team. You’ll provide your client with peace of mind as you implement policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database. You’ll use technology and tools like SQL Server to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical database. In this role, you’ll closely impact the public health and scientific mission by improving the function and performance of public health data systems, and making it easier for users to share data and create reports. With your technical experience, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we’ll focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.
