About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Test Engineer with strong skills in SQL, BigQuery, API Testing, Data Warehouse Testing, and Python. This is a contract role for 6+ months with flexible work from home options available.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA/Test Engineering.
- Strong experience with functional, regression, integration, and negative testing.
- Experience testing AI/ML, LLM, Conversational AI, or NL-to-SQL systems.
- Strong REST API testing using Postman, pytest, or similar tools.
- Advanced SQL and BigQuery Standard SQL.
- Experience with CTEs, Window Functions, Joins, Date Functions, STRUCT/ARRAY, and complex queries.
- Strong Data Warehouse and Data Quality Testing experience.
- Experience with data reconciliation and validation.
- Strong Python scripting/automation skills.
- Good experience writing clear and detailed defect reports.
- Strong banking/financial services domain knowledge including: Deposits, Accounts, Transactions, AML/KYC, Fraud, Compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Cortex, Looker, ThoughtSpot, or similar AI/NL-to-SQL platforms.
- GCP experience with BigQuery, Cloud Run, Firestore, Dataplex, and IAP.
- Experience with pytest, SQLAlchemy, and Google Cloud BigQuery SDK.
- Knowledge of SCD2, Bitemporal tables, and Data Warehousing.
- Knowledge of GLBA, FCRA, BSA/AML, BCBS 239, and SOX.
- Knowledge of Knowledge Graphs and Ontology concepts.
Responsibilities

- Conduct data reconciliation and validation.
- Develop and utilize Python scripting for automation.
- Write clear and detailed defect reports.
- Apply strong banking/financial services domain knowledge including Deposits, Accounts, Transactions, AML/KYC, Fraud, and Compliance.
