About The Position

TRIAEM is seeking a mid-level Data Visualization & Analytics Specialist for a future opportunity supporting a complex federal mission environment in the Northern Virginia/Washington Metropolitan Area. The role transforms complex raw datasets into intuitive, actionable, and visually compelling analytical products that support informed decision-making. It combines hands-on data preparation and analytics with dashboard and report development, visual storytelling, and collaboration with technical teams, mission stakeholders, and leadership. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award and final customer requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field; 5+ years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Demonstrated experience creating insightful, visually compelling dashboards and analytical reports that effectively communicate complex data to a variety of audiences.
Proficiency with one or more leading business intelligence and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience preparing data for analysis, including cleaning and transforming raw datasets.
Demonstrated ability to analyze datasets to identify significant trends, patterns, and correlations.
Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable business insights and recommendations.
Strong communication skills and experience working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and present data-driven recommendations.
Active TS/SCI clearance.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university.
Demonstrated specialized experience supporting NGA and/or other Intelligence Community or Department of Defense missions.
Demonstrated knowledge of Artificial Intelligence principles and their application to Data Visualization and Analytics.
Demonstrated knowledge of PEO-GG systems.
Experience working in complex government, defense, intelligence, or other mission-focused data environments.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, structure, and prepare disparate datasets for analysis and visualization.
Support the accuracy, quality, and integrity of data used in analytical products.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, analytical reports, and other data visualization products.
Create visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, and related business intelligence technologies.
Develop clear visual narratives using charts, graphs, infographics, and other visualization techniques.
Translate complex data and analytical findings into information accessible to technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams to understand business and mission needs.
Gather requirements and assist in defining meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Analyze datasets to identify significant trends, patterns, and correlations.
Translate analytical findings into actionable business insights and recommendations.
Present analytical results and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
