About The Position
BizFirst is assisting its client, a boutique consulting firm supporting the federal government, with recruiting for a Data/Technology Enablement – Data Visualization Development role on the USTRANSCOM JFOSS program. The firm supports strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation. Based on-site at Scott AFB, Illinois, this full-time, permanent position leads the development of data-driven dashboards and visualizations. The role works with senior clients to define reporting strategy and gather requirements, oversees dashboard quality, prepares data using basic ETL and processing methods, and identifies opportunities to enhance visualization and reporting. An interim Secret security clearance or higher is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Interim Secret security clearance or higher.
- Ability to lead teams developing data-driven visualizations and dashboards.
- Ability to scope dashboard and visualization work and provide technical assistance, oversight, and quality control.
- Ability to work with commonly used visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Ability to lead discussions with senior clients to define visualization and reporting strategy and gather dashboard requirements.
- Ability to prepare dashboard data using basic ETL and data processing methods and document dashboard usage and maintenance.
- Ability to identify visualization and reporting enhancements and develop approaches for implementing them.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams in developing data-driven visualizations and dashboards.
- Provide oversight, scoping, technical assistance, and quality control for dashboard and visualization development using commonly used software such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Lead discussions with senior clients to define visualization and reporting strategy and gather dashboard requirements.
- Prepare data for dashboards using basic ETL and data processing methods.
- Develop documentation and guides for dashboard usage and maintenance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance visualization and reporting and develop execution approaches and strategies.
