About The Position

The Digital Platform Delivery & Architecture (DPDA) group in EDC plays a critical role in enabling the business to leverage technologies by providing an easy-to-use, secure and fit-for-purpose digital business platforms. To better position ourselves for success, the Salesforce Platform team is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Salesforce Marketing Cloud Data & Technical Lead to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions within our financial services ecosystem. This is a strategic role where you will drive digital transformation using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to design and build innovative Salesforce solutions that truly make a difference for our business and improve our operational efficiency. Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a technical lead, working on Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations in an enterprise environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing Data Management, Campaign Management and Delivery experience with segmentation strategy.
  • Solid CRM experience and understanding of marketing campaign concepts and best practices.
  • Solid experience in complex multi-audience campaigns design, development, execution and measurement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with business and technical teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce Data360 and its integration with Marketing Cloud Next and Full-Service Connector (FSC).
  • Strong expertise in segment creation, activation, and automation for omnichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud Next, with knowledge of Full-Service Connector (FSC).
  • Knowledge of data engineering concepts, zero-copy data access, and cloud-based data integration.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with a track record of effectively working autonomously and navigating ambiguity.
  • Understanding of banking, insurance, or financial regulations.
  • Bilingual in both official languages (English and French).

Responsibilities

  • Help to lead Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next development projects, ensuring best practices and security.
  • Optimize data setup, structuring, and validation within Salesforce Data Cloud to ensure accuracy, compliance, and readiness for marketing use.
  • Deep understanding in integration between Salesforce Data Cloud with Marketing Cloud Next, and Salesforce CRM for a seamless customer experience.
  • Leverage zero-copy data sharing and cloud-based data sources for real-time marketing activation.
  • Ensure identity resolution and data unification to enhance customer profiling and personalization.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize CDC Data Object Mapping (DMO) to enable seamless data activation.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance for developing flows to support to EDC’s team of marketing automation specialists, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and data engineering teams to facilitate integrated solutions and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Cooperate with the BA to translate business needs into adequate technical solutions.
  • Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections, and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Keep an eye on the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next trends and industry regulations to ensure our solutions are current and compliant with the newest standards.
  • Participate in activities related to the Software design, development and integration of information systems and platform technologies according to industry best practices and EDC standards.
