Data Solutions Analyst
About The Position
The Data Solutions Analyst will join VTS’s Data Solutions team as a domain-expert quality assurance layer between AI engineering initiatives and client-facing analytics. The role applies commercial real estate knowledge to help ensure that data used to train VTS’s AI systems and dashboards used by clients are accurate and trustworthy. The position is based in New York, NY, and requires working from the office four days per week. The Analyst will support training, launching, and maintaining VTS AI tools; QA and migrate client-facing business intelligence dashboards to a new data warehouse; and build, maintain, and troubleshoot dashboards in Looker. The role partners with product, engineering, and client-facing teams to address data-quality issues and develops deep domain expertise across VTS’s AI tools, data, and client dashboards. It offers exposure to strategic AI initiatives and ownership over the accuracy of client deliverables and model performance.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in commercial real estate, including analyzing CRE data.
- Experience with a BI or visualization tool such as Looker.
- A track record of meticulous, structured QA or data-quality work.
- Strong communication skills across technical and client-facing audiences.
- Comfort working in technical tooling and picking up new domains quickly.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with LookML, dbt, or data warehouses.
- Prior AI/LLM QA exposure.
- Familiarity with lease or CRE contract structures.
Responsibilities
