About The Position

The Data Scientist supports mission-focused work by applying quantitative, analytical, and statistical methods to explore, model, and extract actionable insights from complex structured and unstructured datasets. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the role uses supervised and unsupervised machine learning, research design principles, and data science methodologies to support strategic client decision-making and data-driven solutions. An active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (CIP) is required. The position is full-time and on-site in McLean, Virginia.

Requirements

• Knowledge of research design principles.
• Knowledge of analytic methods and methodological tools used in applied mathematics, computer programming, or data visualization.
• Ability to apply supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms to structured and unstructured datasets.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (CIP).
• Must work on-site in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and evaluate supervised and unsupervised machine learning models to analyze structured and unstructured datasets.
• Apply research design principles, applied mathematics, computer programming, and data visualization tools to investigate complex data problems.
• Advise clients on data strategy, data acquisition, data governance, and data infrastructure implementations.
• Communicate analytical findings and data insights through visual dashboards, written reports, and executive presentations.
