About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Data Scientist to join its Talent Analytics & Insights team. The role applies research design, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling to investigate workforce questions such as attrition drivers, workforce planning, internal mobility, employee engagement, and performance outcomes. The position focuses on applied research and analytical problem-solving—not back-end data engineering—and turns data into advice that senior leaders can use to make workforce decisions. The Data Scientist conducts end-to-end analyses, from translating business questions and gathering data through analysis, documentation, and presentation. The role works with enterprise data warehouse and HR systems, partners with HR functions, and communicates findings to HR and business stakeholders. Work may be performed remotely, with preference for qualified candidates able to work occasionally from the Reston, Virginia office. The position requires U.S. citizenship.
