About The Position

Insight Xcite is recruiting Data Scientists for current and upcoming mission-focused opportunities. The role turns complex data into useful analysis and clear answers for decision makers. Assignments may focus on exploratory analysis, business and mission analytics, or visual products that help customers understand their data. Specific tools, seniority, education, certifications, and experience requirements depend on the assignment and are reviewed during the candidate-matching process. Applicants are not expected to have every skill or technology listed. Data Scientists work with stakeholders to define analytical questions and measures, prepare and analyze data, and develop visualizations, dashboards, prototypes, reports, or other analytical products. They explain findings and limitations to technical and nontechnical audiences, review data quality, and document analytical methods and workflows. The role also includes developing and maintaining Python-based data workflows and ETL processes and using SQL to explore, transform, and validate data. Assignments are onsite at designated customer locations; remote and hybrid opportunities are not offered. Applicants must currently possess an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP). Insight Xcite does not sponsor or process security clearances. Compensation within the advertised range depends on relevant experience, demonstrated technical skills, and assignment requirements; the upper end is reserved for candidates meeting the most advanced requirements.
