About The Position

The Data Scientist works within PNC's Data and Automation organization and is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Strongsville, Ohio; Dallas, Texas; Birmingham, Alabama; Lakewood, Colorado; or Phoenix, Arizona. The role combines traditional data science with generative AI capabilities, focusing on building, deploying, and operating intelligent agents and internal tools to improve team and departmental workflows. The position analyzes structured and unstructured data to produce actionable business insights. It involves gathering, processing, and mining large, complex datasets; developing predictive algorithms with mathematical and statistical techniques such as machine learning; and conducting analytical experiments to identify product and process improvements. The Data Scientist may work with Data Architects, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Visualization Experts to develop data-driven solutions and present findings to management through visualization and data storytelling. PNC describes itself as an in-office company and encourages candidates to discuss workplace expectations with their recruiter and hiring manager. PNC will not sponsor employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
