About The Position

Apogee Integration is seeking journeyman- to senior-level Data Scientists, Statisticians, and Social Scientists to support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Risk Management and Data (ORMD). The role applies statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, data science, and geospatial analysis to support data-driven decision-making and operational objectives. Candidates should be self-starters with strong analytical and technical skills who can develop, implement, and operationalize analytical methods to address complex challenges. The position requires U.S. citizenship and willingness and ability to pass a TS/SCI with Poly investigation; DHS Suitability is also specified.

Requirements

• Journeyman- to senior-level experience in data science, statistics, social science, applied mathematics, or a related analytical discipline.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, exploratory data analysis, and regression modeling.
• Experience with regression techniques, including OLS, WLS, and random forest regression.
• Experience operationalizing analytical methods and models.
• GIS experience, including geospatial analysis and suitability modeling.
• Experience using ArcGIS.
• Proficiency in Python scripting; experience with SQL and R.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage analytical tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Willingness and ability to pass a TS/SCI with Poly investigation; DHS Suitability is required.
