About The Position

The Data Scientist Lead will apply AI and data science expertise to deliver end-to-end solutions in partnership with business stakeholders. The role calls for a business-savvy, AI-savvy professional who builds strong business relationships, works directly with stakeholders, and can personally deploy and deliver solutions rather than focusing solely on back-end development. The position is onsite in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, or New Hudson, Michigan, with an annual salary range of $130,000 to $160,000.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience; 6 years may be appropriate, according to the manager.
• Strong business and AI acumen, with experience working directly with business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage work end to end and personally deploy and deliver solutions.
• Expert proficiency in Python, including NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Strong hands-on experience building supervised and unsupervised learning pipelines, deep learning models, natural language processing solutions, and modern LLM architectures.
• Proven experience using an enterprise cloud ecosystem such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and distributed compute systems such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with model tracking, containerization, and orchestration platforms such as MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, or Airflow.
• Proficiency presenting findings with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI or Streamlit.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage data science work end to end, including personally deploying and delivering solutions.
• Work directly with business stakeholders and develop strong business relationships.
• Build supervised and unsupervised learning pipelines, deep learning models, NLP solutions, and LLM architectures.
• Present findings using business intelligence and visualization tools.
