About The Position

Pattern is seeking a Data Science Intern to assist with advanced data analyses and produce industry insights that support projects across the company. The intern will be aligned with a high-priority project based on their skills and career interests as well as the team’s evolving needs. This is a full-time, approximately 12-week internship for Summer 2027, following a hybrid schedule from Pattern’s office in Lehi, Utah.

The intern will work extensively with Pattern’s Data Science team, collaborate with business stakeholders, and receive mentorship from team members. The team is data-driven and results-oriented, and encourages ideas and input from all members. A high-performing intern may be considered for a full-time role if one is available, or for a part-time extension after returning to school.

Pattern accelerates brands on global ecommerce marketplaces through proprietary technology and AI. The company uses data, machine learning, and AI to optimize ecommerce growth for global brands.

Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to identify, scope, and build models and pipelines.
• Perform advanced data wrangling and model building, and evaluate project performance.
• Drive adoption of data science tools and best practices.
• Complete assignments in a timely manner and take ownership of projects through completion.
• Collaborate with Data Science team members to implement actionable solutions.
