About The Position

Pattern is seeking a Data Science Intern to assist with advanced data analyses and produce industry insights that support projects across the company. The intern will be aligned with a high-priority project tailored to their skills and career interests, as well as the team’s evolving needs. This is a full-time, approximately 12-week summer internship for 2027, following a hybrid schedule from Pattern’s office in Lehi, Utah.

The intern will work extensively with Pattern’s Data Science team, receive mentorship from a senior team member, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement actionable solutions. A high-performing intern may be considered for a full-time role if one is available, or for part-time work with the team after returning to school.

Requirements

• Passion for data and using data science to solve business problems.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to identify, scope, and build models and pipelines.
• Ability to perform advanced data wrangling and model building and evaluate project performance.
• Ability to encourage adoption of data science tools and best practices.
• Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner and take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities
