AutoZone 2027 Summer Internship – Data Science
About The Position
AutoZone's Top 100 Internship Program is designed to provide students with challenging, real-world experience in a corporate retail environment. The Data Science Intern will work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and assist with executing assigned projects. AutoZone is seeking a tech-savvy and motivated Data Science Intern to join our team for the summer. In this role, you will work on analyzing large datasets, developing predictive models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges. Your contributions will play a key role in enhancing operations and customer experiences through data-driven insights. Throughout your internship, you will collaborate in teams and manage your own projects, working closely with business partners, analysts, and technology teams. This hands-on experience will ensure your success and provide you with tangible results by the end of your internship.
Requirements
- Applicants must be rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university during the Summer 2027 internship program (June 7 - August 6, 2027).
- Students who graduate before June 7, 2027, are not eligible for the program.
- Must be able to reside in the Memphis area for the duration of the internship.
- Applicants should apply to no more than two internship roles that best align with their interests, skills, and experience.
- Majors: Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics.
- Educated in technical languages like Python, R, SQL, Java, Tableau and Alteryx.
