AutoZone 2027 Summer Internship – Data Science
About The Position
AutoZone's Top 100 Internship Program is designed to provide students with challenging, real-world experience in a corporate retail environment. This 9-week paid, full-time summer internship (June 7 - August 6, 2027) offers meaningful, hands-on work experience, cross-functional job shadowing opportunities, dedicated one-on-one mentorship, professional and personal development workshops, and networking and community service events. The Data Science Intern will work on analyzing large datasets, developing predictive models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges. Contributions will play a key role in enhancing operations and customer experiences through data-driven insights. The intern will collaborate in teams and manage their own projects, working closely with business partners, analysts, and technology teams, ensuring success and providing tangible results by the end of the internship.
Requirements
- Must be a rising junior, senior, or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university during the Summer 2027 internship program (June 7 - August 6, 2027).
- Students who graduate before June 7, 2027, are not eligible.
- Must be able to reside in the Memphis area for the duration of the internship.
- Majors: Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics.
- Educated in technical languages like Python, R, SQL, Java, Tableau and Alteryx.
Nice To Haves
- Relocation assistance is available for eligible non-local students.
- Non-local students are defined as those who do not have available family housing in the Memphis area and whose college or university is not located in Memphis.
- Applicants should apply to no more than two internship roles that best align with their interests, skills, and experience.
