Data Readiness Analyst - SA

Perficient•Town and Country, MO
•$133,600 - $173,600•Hybrid

About The Position

Perficient is hiring a Data Readiness Analyst for its Data & Analytics team. The role executes Perficient’s Data Readiness Assessment (DRA) across in-scope source systems, including Oracle ATG, SAP ECC and SAP CPQ extracts, and Stibo STEP. The analyst operates the assessment tool end to end: connecting sources, configuring and running scans, interpreting results, and validating findings with client data stewards. The role produces domain scorecards, pre-cutover issue lists, and measured baselines and tolerances used to establish migration reconciliation gates. Candidates may be based in most major U.S. metro areas near an airport and should be willing to work hybrid when needed and travel up to 25% as needed. Preferred locations include the East Coast or Midwest near a Perficient office, though other airport-near locations may be considered. The Data & Analytics team supports clients across the data lifecycle, including curation, ingestion, management, analytics, and reporting. Its practice includes AI, Data Management, Content, and Data Strategy, and works on digital transformation initiatives using modern data platforms, machine learning, and generative AI. The position’s stated salary range is $133,600 to $173,600 in base salary; the range varies by factors such as skills, experience, and location and excludes benefits and potential equity or variable bonus programs.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience operating a data profiling and quality platform end to end, including connecting sources, configuring rule sets, running scans, and interpreting output.
  • Perficient DRA experience is preferred; Informatica IDQ, Oracle EDQ, or Collibra experience is acceptable with ramp-up.
  • SQL fluency, particularly Oracle SQL, to validate tool results and investigate flagged items.
  • Knowledge of data profiling and classification, including completeness, validity, uniqueness, consistency, and referential integrity, and the ability to distinguish real defects from benign patterns.
  • Knowledge of duplicate detection, clustering, and survivorship, including deciding which issues to resolve before migration.
  • Experience with sensitive-data classification and working understanding of GDPR and data residency, sufficient to design scans that profile data in place and transfer only aggregated results.
  • Ability to translate findings into decisions and design and effort implications, rather than simply produce a report.
  • Client-facing ability to agree on tolerances and adjudicate exceptions with business data stewards.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows and support data-informed task execution.
  • Solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, including ethical considerations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms.
  • Preferred location on the East Coast or in the Midwest near a Perficient office, including Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Charlotte, Atlanta, or Denver; other locations near an airport may be considered.
  • Experience with SAP-sourced data profiling.
  • Experience with product or catalog data at scale.
  • Experience with multi-country address verification.
  • Python.

Responsibilities

  • Run Perficient’s Data Readiness Assessment against each in-scope source system, including Oracle ATG, SAP ECC and SAP CPQ extracts, and Stibo STEP.
  • Operate the data readiness assessment tool end to end by connecting sources, configuring and running scans, and interpreting scan output.
  • Validate and stand behind findings with client data stewards.
  • Produce domain scorecards, pre-cutover issue lists, and measured baselines and tolerances for migration reconciliation gates.
  • Translate assessment findings into design and effort implications, decisions, and a re-baselined estimate.
  • Agree on tolerances and adjudicate exceptions directly with business data stewards.
  • Use AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
