About The Position

Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for a Data Quality Coordinator, Temporary in our Global Operations & Innovation Center in Wheeling, WV. This exciting role provides you the opportunity to gain exposure to real legal business operations within a leading law firm environment. You will gain hands-on experience with legal technology platforms and knowledge systems (including Foundation/Litera), develop practical skills in data analysis, including mapping repositories to client/matter metadata, perform data quality checks and contribute to reporting that drives decision-making, and build experience in documenting processes and supporting enterprise-level data governance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, basic data analysis) and familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools
  • Self-motivated problem solvers interested in tackling real-world data governance and organization challenges
  • Interest in legal technology, knowledge management, or information governance is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Interest in legal technology, knowledge management, content management, or information governance.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Box, or document management systems is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with reviewing and organizing legacy and active content stored on file shares and Box locations.
  • Analyze content stored in these repositories and assist with mapping repositories to client and matter numbers.
  • Research repository names and metadata to identify corresponding clients and matters.
  • Maintain tracking spreadsheets and documentation of findings.
  • Flag repositories requiring additional review or validation.
  • Assist with reporting and data quality checks.
  • Support efforts to improve repository organization and governance.
  • Assist with Foundation-related administrative and content management tasks.
  • Support content and data updates.
  • Help document processes and training materials.
  • Provide project support to the Foundation team as needed.

Benefits

  • The expected salary range for this position is between $20.67/hr and $26.45/hr.
