About The Position

At Bank of America, this role manages and oversees analytical, team, and client responsibilities across a broad group of analytical resources, serving senior channel, operations, marketing, or product executives. The position sets group priorities in alignment with business objectives and ensures staff and resources are appropriately focused. It directs complex analyses using a variety of tools, techniques, and resources to deliver insights that inform business direction and decisions.

The role partners with P&L owners and senior executives to identify and analyze business problems and propose data-driven solutions. It integrates analysis and strategic priorities with other analytics teams and business partners to support organizational alignment, and develops employees’ analytical and business-insight capabilities. The position may also manage associates and carries the managerial responsibilities described in the posting, including inclusion, process and data improvement, enterprise communication, risk management, coaching, financial stewardship, talent leadership, and delivery of business outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience supervising technical or complex projects and managing them to an outcome through direct management.
• Experience developing people resources.
• Ability to manage and resolve competing priorities.
• Proven track record in financial services, consumer products, and/or marketing business or analytics.
• Knowledge of current data techniques and tools.
• Ability to evaluate and make business trade-offs.
• Ability to communicate effectively at senior levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of statistical data uses in business decisions.

• Inspect and challenge risk controls, governance, and culture, supporting identification, escalation, debate, and remediation of risk.
• Coach employees, sustain and elevate organizational performance, and differentiate performance in support of pay for performance.
• Allocate and manage resources to support short- and long-term profitability.
