About The Position

This full-time position is in the Billing Department at the Texas Business Center in Denton, Texas. It offers 40 hours per week, full benefits, and a day schedule. The Data Processing function provides services to the facility, including entering charges and payment adjustments, preparing and printing reports, and balancing data entered into the patient accounting system. The role also involves writing up payments, entering notes into the system, preparing and reviewing cash-balancing reports, maintaining accurate cash logs, reviewing account financial transactions, and communicating with appropriate departments, including the CFO.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
A minimum of two years of experience in insurance billing and CPT coding.
Any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital business office.
Experience with billing, computers, and business software programs such as Excel is preferred.
May need to work flexible hours, including overtime.
