About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a US Remote based Data Processing Associate to join its Invitae Genetics team! This role performs both pre-accessioning and post-accessioning order processing activities, including patient and order creation, data entry, quality control, and task creation for customer support teams. The Data Processing team is integral to both the laboratory and customer support phases, contributing to a culture of open communication, urgency, and a patient-first mindset. The role requires strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency with remote collaboration tools and a dedicated, distraction-free work environment are essential.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 or more years’ experience in healthcare, science, data processing, or related field
  • Strong data entry and typing skills
  • High level attention to detail with ability to problem solve
  • Flexibility and ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experienced in managing multiple applications, using two monitors, with strong organizational skills
  • Quiet, dedicated, distraction-free work from home space
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Proficiency with remote collaboration

Nice To Haves

  • 1 or more years’ experience working in a genetic testing clinical laboratory
  • 1 or more years’ experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Current or prior Invitae experience
  • 1 or more years’ experience working in a metric/volume driven role
  • Experience or knowledge of genetic testing or related field
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, JIRA, or similar CRM/ticketing platforms

Responsibilities

  • Perform Pre-Accessioning Order Processing activities including Patient creation, Order creation, and Task creation for customer support teams (kit requests, missing information).
  • Meet established SLAs and OKRs for pre-accessioning tasks.
  • Perform Post-accessioning Order Processing activities including Data Entry of order information into Invitae systems and Quality control of previously entered information.
  • Create tasks for customer support teams (kit requests, missing information) as part of post-accessioning.
  • Communicate with Accessioning and Client Services teams as needed.
  • Meet established SLAs and OKRs for post-accessioning tasks.
  • Perform Report maintenance.
  • Engage in Compliance activities.
  • Participate in Team meetings and training.
