About The Position

The Data platform SRE/Observability Engineer develops and improves end-to-end observability across infrastructure, including Trino, Kubernetes, databases, and Big Data systems such as Apache Ozone and Hadoop. The role includes implementing automated DORA metrics collection and creating high-level dashboards that show service uptime, auditing existing metrics to find monitoring gaps, and improving Alertmanager rules to detect incidents and anomalies before they affect users. This role provides focused monitoring expertise to support the wider team, reducing the routine dashboard configuration and alerting workload for team leads. The emphasis is on infrastructure reliability and observability rather than product feature development. The position offers a flexible work schedule and the choice of remote, office, or hybrid work.
