About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Data Operations Engineer / DataOps Specialist with 8-10 years of experience to join our team. This role will focus on building, managing, and monitoring ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data quality and governance, and optimizing data infrastructure. You will collaborate with various teams to understand data needs and translate them into efficient data workflows, while also maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Requirements

8-10 years of experience in Data Operations/DataOps.
Proficiency in Python.
Experience building, managing, and monitoring ETL/ELT pipelines.
Experience with data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation.
Experience maintaining data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
Experience defining and enforcing data governance standards.
Experience monitoring data systems for failures and anomalies.
Experience performing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Experience managing data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP, Data Lakes, Warehouses).
Experience optimizing performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Experience supporting CI/CD for data systems.
Experience collaborating with business, analytics, and engineering teams.
Experience translating business requirements into data workflows.
Experience maintaining pipeline documentation, lineage, and metadata.
Experience ensuring compliance with security and data privacy standards.

Responsibilities

Build, manage, and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
Ensure smooth data flow across systems, warehouses, and applications.
Automate workflows and reduce manual data handling.
Implement data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes.
Maintain data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across systems.
Define and enforce data governance standards and policies.
Monitor pipelines and data systems for failures and anomalies.
Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure SLA adherence for data availability.
Manage data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP, Data Lakes, Warehouses).
Optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Support CI/CD for data systems (DataOps practices).
Work with business, analytics, and engineering teams to understand data needs.
Translate business requirements into data workflows.
Support reporting, BI, and advanced analytics.
Maintain pipeline documentation, lineage, and metadata.
Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards.
Support audits and governance reviews.
