About The Position

EY is seeking a Data Manager and Strategist to lead efforts in designing and applying comprehensive methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern and control the entire lifecycle of data assets. This role will assist clients in achieving business transformation by providing efficient and effective business solutions through data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities include performing maturity assessments on data management capabilities, advising clients on tools and roadmaps for implementation to enhance enterprise data management capabilities, and helping clients achieve flexible management approaches based on real-time performance data insights. The role also involves driving continuous improvement and innovation by applying research, analysis, and best practices to advance processes and solutions, managing the design and implementation of data governance frameworks aligned with business objectives, and collaborating with stakeholders and leadership to build analytics solutions that deliver tangible business value. Additionally, the position requires managing and motivating teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, consistently delivering quality client services by monitoring progress, demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge, maintaining long-term client relationships and networks, and cultivating business development opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), Management Science, Mathematics, Data, Business, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience, OR a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), Management Science, Mathematics, Data, Business, or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.
At least 4 years of experience in Data Fabric, Data Governance, and Enterprise IT Architecture.
At least 4 years of experience in python programming specializing in data handling, managing, and ETL jobs.
At least 4 years of experience in the following programming languages: Python (Dash, Pandas, and NumPy), SQL, and R.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in querying data in cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure or similar.
At least 3 years of experience in the following database technologies: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
At least 3 years of experience in the following visualization tools: Power BI, Spotfire, and Power Apps.
At least 3 years of experience in the following libraries and frameworks: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, StatsModels, Tidyverse, or caret.
Requires domestic travel up to 80% to serve client needs.
