About The Position

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Neurology is hiring a part-time, temporary Data Management Coordinator to work at UHealth. The role reviews research administration proposals, awards, contracts and related data documents, and oversees and mentors junior staff to promote efficient, compliant work. The coordinator generates and analyzes reports, resolves bugs and data anomalies, supports statistical reporting, develops data-collection and analysis tools, transfers record ownership between databases, and helps improve reporting processes. Department-specific work supports CCBH clinical research data from REDCap collection through analysis-ready datasets in Azure. This includes longitudinal study data, neuropsychological assessments and multi-study datasets handled under HIPAA requirements. The position combines technical platform ownership with service to the research team, including exports, reports and study instruments. The coordinator builds and maintains REDCap projects and bilingual instruments, runs Python pipelines into Azure, maintains Synapse notebooks and Delta tables, standardizes and reconciles data across sources, maintains documentation and the data dictionary, and performs HIPAA-compliant de-identification and pseudonymization. The role also prepares datasets for research and grant work, supports recruitment and enrollment, manages an internal data-export application and reporting, and manages Azure resources and access. Duties may be expanded as necessary.
