Data Management Analyst

Atrium HospitalityAlpharetta, GA
Remote

About The Position

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while collaborating with team members across the organization. The Data Management Analyst will keep Atrium’s reporting timely by watching pipelines in Prefect, Task Scheduler, Snowflake, and WhereScape RED, and catching failures before they reach a dashboard. This role involves building and maintaining alerts, scripts, and trackers that flag late jobs, failed runs, and data quality issues. The analyst will validate data from source through transformation and into the warehouse, confirming accuracy. They will triage issues from the teams supported (pipeline, vendor, or report) and provide clear recommendations for Snowflake, WhereScape, or Python to the Data Management & Analysis team. A key part of the role is partnering with data engineers and BI developers to fix defects, expand monitoring, and keep architecture and troubleshooting documentation current. Additionally, the analyst will serve as a data governance steward, auditing workflows against naming, documentation, and quality standards, and keeping the pipeline catalog current. The role also involves helping to set up and maintain MCP servers and the semantic-layer metadata that powers Atrium’s AI-driven analytics.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years in data analysis, data engineering support, QA, or data operations
  • SQL you can actually troubleshoot – You can read a query, validate the output, and diagnose issues at the warehouse level.
  • Comfort with Python – You can read pipeline and alerting scripts and propose a smart edit, even if you are not writing complex jobs from scratch.
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools – Prefect, Airflow, or something similar. You know how workflows get scheduled, fail, and get rerun.
  • A governance mindset – Documentation, data quality, access, and change management are not extras. You are comfortable holding the team to the standard.
  • Clear communication and sharp prioritization – You can explain a technical issue to an engineer and a hotel operator, and you sequence work by business impact.

Nice To Haves

  • Snowflake experience (strongly preferred) – You will hit the ground faster.
  • Tableau, WhereScape, hospitality data, and MCP or AI-layer exposure are pluses.
