About The Position

This is a fully remote position where the analyst will be responsible for ensuring the timeliness of Atrium's reporting by monitoring pipelines in Prefect, Task Scheduler, Snowflake, and WhereScape RED, and identifying failures before they impact dashboards. The role involves building and maintaining alerts, scripts, and trackers to flag late or failed jobs and data quality issues. The analyst will validate data from source through transformation into the warehouse, ensuring accuracy. They will also triage issues reported by supported teams, providing clear recommendations for Snowflake, WhereScape, or Python to the Data Management & Analysis team. Collaboration with data engineers and BI developers is expected for fixing defects, enhancing monitoring, and updating documentation. Additionally, the role includes serving as a data governance steward, auditing workflows against standards, and maintaining the pipeline catalog. A key responsibility is assisting in the setup and maintenance of MCP servers and the semantic-layer metadata that supports Atrium's AI-driven analytics.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years in data analysis, data engineering support, QA, or data operations
  • SQL proficiency for troubleshooting, validating output, and diagnosing issues at the warehouse level.
  • Comfort with Python for reading pipeline and alerting scripts and proposing edits.
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools like Prefect, Airflow, or similar, understanding workflow scheduling, failure, and reruns.
  • A governance mindset, comfortable with documentation, data quality, access, and change management.
  • Clear communication skills to explain technical issues to both engineers and hotel operators.
  • Sharp prioritization skills, able to sequence work by business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Keep Atrium’s reporting timely by watching pipelines in Prefect, Task Scheduler, Snowflake, and WhereScape RED—and catching failures before they reach a dashboard.
  • Build and maintain the alerts, scripts, and trackers that flag late jobs, failed runs, and data quality issues.
  • Validate data from source through transformation and into the warehouse, confirming what came out is what should have come out.
  • Triage issues from the teams we support—pipeline, vendor, or report—and hand the Data Management & Analysis team clear recommendations for Snowflake, WhereScape, or Python.
  • Partner with data engineers and BI developers to fix defects, expand monitoring, and keep architecture and troubleshooting docs current.
  • Serve as a data governance steward—auditing workflows against naming, documentation, and quality standards, and keeping the pipeline catalog current.
  • Help set up and maintain MCP servers and the semantic-layer metadata that powers Atrium’s AI-driven analytics.
