Data Labeling Associate - Tamil Speakers
About The Position
Welo Data is hiring a Data Labeling Associate (Tamil) to help evaluate and improve cutting-edge AI systems. This is a full-time, 40 hours/week, W2 Full-Time Employee position with a duration of 1-year contract, with possible extension. The role requires native-level Tamil proficiency, a Bachelor's degree or higher, B2+ English proficiency, 1-2 years of professional writing experience, and ideally 2+ years of experience related to GenAI safety, data quality, QA, annotation, or analysis. Strong critical thinking, communication, and attention to detail are essential. The position is 100% onsite, requiring candidates to live in or be able to commute to one of the listed locations. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship).
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated content and provide quality feedback.
- Review model performance, identify errors, patterns, and edge cases.
- Apply evaluation guidelines and contribute to process improvements.
- Document findings and communicate insights with stakeholders.
