About The Position

The Finance Future Leaders Program Data and Analytics Track aims to develop future finance leaders by focusing on finance insights and solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across finance functions. This is achieved by leveraging strong technical skills and strategic thinking through mentorship, training modules, regular and timely performance feedback, and stretch projects that drive business improvement and efficiencies. Participants can expect exposure to assignments within data science, decision science, and business analytics. The internship program allows interns to showcase their skills while gaining real-life experience to help jump-start their careers. Interns deliver innovative solutions to real business challenges while building enduring relationships in a collaborative culture with their manager and an assigned mentor. This opportunity may lead to selection into a two-year development rotational program following graduation.

Requirements

Must be a bachelor's degree or higher degree, from an accredited college or university, in mathematics, computer science statistics, economics, finance, actuarial sciences, science and engineering, or other similar quantitative discipline.
Graduation date cannot be prior to August 13, 2027.
0 to 2 years of experience in Information or Data related practices to include: information governance, information management, information architecture, information technology, business analysis, and reporting.
Foundational experience in one or more dynamic scripted language (Python, R, etc.) and database query language (such as SQL, HQL, NoSQL, etc.) for performing statistical analyses and/or building and scoring AI/ML models.
Foundational knowledge of and experience with the concepts and technologies associated with classical supervised and unsupervised modeling.
Experience with or interest in using AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, generate business insights, improve reporting, and support finance and business decision-making.

Nice To Haves

Academic concentration in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or other quantitative or analytical fields.
Knowledge and/or awareness of business intelligence and data management platforms (Tableau, Business Objects, Sigma, Snowflake, etc).
Graduation date in Spring 2028.
Prior relevant internship experience within data and analytics or business analytics.

Responsibilities

Captures business requirements by partnering with customers to define the business problem and data needs.
Ensures that information management practices (Metadata management, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Data Profiling, etc.) are coordinated into appropriate business and technology processes in support of the Information Governance policy.
Uses basic knowledge of multiple data structures and sources to support the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions, which may include data visualization, business intelligence, data transformation, or data collection.
Develops partnerships with technology teams on the development of analytic infrastructures, data engineering, or related business intelligence enablement efforts.
Supports the delivery of business insights using machine learning, simulation, and optimization.
Acquires knowledge of data analysis techniques, technologies, and methodologies.
Works closely with more senior data scientists to perform hands-on model life cycle related tasks.
Partners with senior team members to develop and deploy models within the Model Development Life Cycle (MDLC) and Model Risk Management (MRM) framework.
