About The Position

This role supports the design and enhancement of data integrity solutions across lineage, data quality, reconciliations, metadata, and Master Data Management (MDM). The analyst will collaborate with technology, PMO, and business teams to analyze requirements, design logical and functional solutions, assess data impacts of changes, and ensure new capabilities align with enterprise data standards for trusted, well-governed data.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in data analysis, data management, data architecture, or business analysis roles within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with advanced SQL and hands‑on experience working with complex datasets.
  • Experience analysing end‑to‑end data flows, including lineage, source‑to‑target mapping, integration patterns, and transformation logic.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to translate technical concepts and solution designs into concise, actionable requirements.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, metadata, ownership, and control concepts, and how they enable trusted and well‑managed data.
  • Experience contributing to the design or specification of data solutions such as lineage models, data quality rules, reconciliation logic, or MDM capabilities.
  • Exposure to data quality, lineage, metadata, or MDM tooling — including enterprise platforms (e.g., Collibra, Purview, Informatica) and open‑source tools (e.g., OpenLineage, Great Expectations).
  • Exposure to data integration technologies or APIs and an understanding of how data moves and transforms across systems.
  • Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments, contributing to backlogs, refinement, and validation activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using scripting or analytical languages (e.g., Python) to support analysis, validation, or light automation is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business and data integrity needs into clear functional requirements for lineage, data quality, reconciliations, metadata, and MDM capabilities.
  • Contribute to the logical design of data integrity solutions, including data rules, lineage models, reconciliation logic, and metadata standards.
  • Perform data impact assessments on change initiatives, ensuring designs meet “data essentials” standards and best‑practice principles.
  • Assess proposed changes for impacts on data flows, ownership, controls, lineage, and quality, ensuring alignment with enterprise data architecture.
  • Partner with technology teams to refine solution designs, prepare functional specifications, support handover for build, and validate delivered functionality.
  • Use SQL and analytical techniques to explore datasets, validate assumptions, and provide evidence‑based inputs into solution design.
  • Support conceptual and logical data modelling activities to ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture.
  • Maintain clear documentation, including requirements, specifications, data flows, and test evidence.
