About the Role: The Data Foundation Strategy team partners closely with leadership across Salesforce’s high-growth businesses - including MuleSoft, Informatica ,Platform, and Heroku. We act as a central hub for strategic planning, business performance insights, and decision-enabling analytics. This is a high-impact, high-visibility individual contributor role that blends strategic thinking with deep analytical work. You’ll be at the core of how we turn data into action - influencing sales strategy, operation efficiency, product growth, enablement, and sales motion.

Requirements

Proficiency in query language SQL , visualization (Tableau), automation (Airflow / Python), data platform (Snowflake)
In-depth knowledge of sales related datasets / metrics e.g. acv, op, pipegen, account, aov, commit, g4g, carving, etc.
Experience in managing datasets, building reporting layers, and delivering BI solutions that scale
Ability to translate business questions into structured analysis, and distill complex results into actionable insights through data
2-3 years of experience in data analytics / business intelligence
Strong business acumen with a passion for data and analytics
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
Detail-oriented with the ability to zoom out and think strategically
A "get-it-done" attitude with the curiosity to explore and improve
Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to executives

Responsibilities

Act as the go-to expert on data and analytics, providing strategic recommendations and insights through compelling, data-driven storytelling to influence key stakeholders
Design and build executive-level dashboards and self-serve reporting tools to track KPIs across Data Foundations
Own the end-to-end development of curated datasets and scalable reporting pipelines in Snowflake and other internal tools (Tableau Prep, Airflow)
Enable and automate operational rhythms such as QBRs, APMs, G4G, and monthly business reviews by delivering high-quality insights and visuals
Collaborate across functions - including finance, sales programs, operations, and product to align on goals and inform key decisions
Partner with teams to standardize definitions, metrics, and reporting frameworks for consistency across the org
