About The Position

As a Data Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful deployment of CluedIn for our customers. You will be the implementation lead throughout the entire customer journey, from installation to go-live, ensuring value is delivered efficiently and effectively. You will work directly with customers to design, implement and operationalise their data using the CluedIn platform. This is a consultative, data-focused role, not a software development position. You will help clients: Understand and model their core business data. Ingest data from multiple source systems into the CluedIn platform. Use the CluedIn user interface to transform, govern and master the client’s data. Assist the client in streaming and extracting their newly mastered data. Upskill the client on the use of the CluedIn platform so they, over time, become self sufficient. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, business, and technology, and who is comfortable configuring platforms rather than writing custom software.

Requirements

  • Experience working with data management, MDM, analytics, or BI platforms
  • Strong understanding of: Data modelling (entities, attributes, relationships).
  • Strong understanding of: Master data and reference data concepts.
  • Strong understanding of: Data transformation, quality and governance.
  • Client-facing or consulting experience.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions.
  • Comfortable working with: SQL (querying, understanding schemas).
  • Comfortable working with: Data integration concepts (ADF, Synapse, API’s, ETL).
  • Comfortable working with: Cloud data platforms and services (Fabric, Databricks, Jupyter Notebook)
  • Able to understand data flows and configurations without needing to write application code.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with client data stewards, technical teams and stakeholders to understand business domains such as Customer, Product, Supplier or Asset.
  • Assists and advise the client on how to model their data within the CluedIn platform.
  • Support data ingestion and integration from various source systems.
  • Configure data quality, matching and mastering rules.
  • Help customers use CluedIn’s UI to explore, govern and manage their data.
  • Run workshops and working sessions with technical and business users.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on master data management best practices.
  • Collaborate with CluedIn product and engineering teams where needed.
