You will support the Data Quality and Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities within the broader Data Governance Program, a business-led program under the Chief Data & Analytics Officer, reporting to the Data Governance Lead. In this role, you will contribute to how the organization improves data quality and manages key master data domains (e.g., Customer, Product), helping ensure data is reliable, consistent, and usable across the enterprise for business operations and emerging AI use cases. You will work hands-on across business, IT, and data stakeholders to execute data quality processes, align master data across systems, and support governance practices in an evolving environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Five-seven (5–7) years of experience in data governance, data quality, master data management or similar role.
  • Experience contributing to data quality practices (rules, monitoring, remediation).
  • Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts such as domains, hierarchies, and reference data.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify issues using datasets and querying tools.
  • Experience developing and supporting dashboards or reporting for data insights.
  • Experience working with business and IT stakeholders to understand data usage and resolve issues.
  • Working knowledge of data models, data marts, and data warehousing.
  • Strong communication skills to explain data concepts to business users.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data governance or data management tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation) is preferred.
  • Certifications Preferred: CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or progress toward certification.
  • DAMA or data governance / data quality-related certifications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Comfortable working in evolving environments with changing priorities.
  • Ability to influence and drive progress without direct authority.
  • Clear and effective communication with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of data quality practices, including rules, standards, and monitoring.
  • Partner across business, data, and IT stakeholders to identify, track, and help resolve data quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain data quality reporting and dashboards, clearly communicating insights and progress to stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying key master data domains and documenting how they are used across systems.
  • Support data ownership and stewardship activities, including documentation of roles and responsibilities.
  • Contribute to improving master data processes (e.g., data creation, updates, and change handling).
  • Help align data definitions, values, and structures across systems in partnership with business and IT.
  • Support execution of data quality and MDM initiatives, including tracking progress and outcomes.
  • Contribute to data governance projects and enhancements, supporting planning, execution, and delivery of improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline or automate data quality and governance processes.
