About The Position

Senior Data Governance Lead responsible for defining governance strategy, operating models, and adoption across Business and Technology organizations. Proven experience driving governance programs, influencing senior stakeholders, and leading cross-functional initiatives involving Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Enterprise Data Management teams. Hands-on experience conducting governance maturity assessments, identifying capability gaps, and implementing enterprise-scale governance frameworks within regulated environments. The ideal candidate will establish and operationalize Data Governance capabilities across the Client Delivery application portfolio, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and data management best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Define and operationalize the Client Delivery Data Governance framework in alignment with Enterprise Data Governance and Chief Data Office (CDO) standards.
  • Conduct governance maturity assessments, identify gaps, and drive remediation plans to improve governance effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
  • Establish governance practices for metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, data ownership, and critical data asset management.
  • Implement and oversee data quality governance, including monitoring, controls, issue management, metrics, and reporting.
  • Partner with Technology, Architecture, Engineering, and Application teams to embed governance requirements into application development and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal governance requirements.
  • Drive governance adoption through governance forums, stakeholder engagement, executive reporting, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Develop governance roadmaps, operating models, standards, and implementation plans to support long-term data management objectives.
