About The Position

The Data & ERP Systems Analyst (IT Liaison) is responsible for improving the accuracy, consistency, and usability of enterprise data across the organization. This role acts as the bridge between business operations and IT, ensuring ERP data, reporting systems, and analytics tools effectively support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. This individual will oversee data integrity initiatives, maintain enterprise data definitions, support reporting and analytics, and coordinate system improvements between functional teams and technical resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ERP systems, business analytics, reporting, or data management.
  • Strong understanding of ERP data structures and business operations.
  • Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and operational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve inaccurate, duplicated, or inconsistent ERP data.
  • Partner with IT to correct system fields, tables, workflows, and data logic.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Product, Inventory, and Operations teams to maintain accurate SKU data, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Pricing structures, Customer and vendor records, and Operational master data.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized enterprise data dictionary.
  • Document key business definitions, tables, fields, KPIs, calculations, and reporting standards.
  • Establish and maintain consistent data definitions across all departments.
  • Update documentation as business processes and systems evolve.
  • Build and enhance dashboards and operational reports for leadership and functional departments.
  • Validate data accuracy between ERP systems and reporting platforms.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to develop and improve data integrations and feeds.
  • Maintain report refresh schedules, data models, and reporting reliability.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business teams and IT.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable system requests.
  • Coordinate ERP enhancements, reporting needs, and data correction initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment and communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Investigate discrepancies in reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
  • Trace data issues to source systems, fields, calculations, or processes.
  • Recommend corrective actions and oversee implementation through resolution.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze business trends, variances, forecasting accuracy, and operational performance.
  • Deliver actionable insights to improve efficiency and business performance.
