About The Position

This is a great opportunity to join LOGISTEED America, Inc., a customer-centric transportation provider offering innovative solutions in freight forwarding and customs brokerage services. If you are interested in how international trade is facilitated, this is a good opportunity to learn from our industry experts. No background in freight forwarding or customs brokerage required. We are simply looking for a candidate who has a strong work ethic, the right aptitude and attitude to learn as training will be provided. In 2023, the total addressable market in international trade was roughly $29.5 trillion. We help companies of all sizes bring their products to the U.S. market. The successful candidate in this position will support our team of entry writers. Critical functions that enable the movement of international freight include transmitting ISF (Importer Security Filing) records, updating TrakIT records, vendor payment, etc. Although this is an entry level position, we expect to train the right individual in handling all facets of the business, and eventually promote from within to manage our growing clientele.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test

Performing tasks safely

Meeting attendance & punctuality standards
Communicating both orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
Entering and transmitting ISFs (Importer Security Filing) for ocean shipments
Entering data of client shipment detail and updating shipment information and/or status
Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operations to deadlines
Assisting entry writers and performing other duties as assigned by the Manager
