About The Position
This role is central to BBG's client service operation, handling eligibility changes, ID card requests, and client updates. The Data Entry Specialist ensures the smooth running of BBG's book by maintaining accurate client information and facilitating communication between producers, carrier partners, and clients. This position offers a platform and support system for individuals with varying levels of experience in client service.
Requirements
- An Associate Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a similar field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical support or administrative support role.
- Hands-on experience with employee benefits software.
- Comfort working across CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A working understanding of insurance concepts and terminology.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the employee benefits industry specifically.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- An active Virginia Life and Health Insurance License.
Responsibilities
- Process client eligibility changes and ID card requests with precision and within tight timeframes.
- Maintain the client management portal with the latest information.
- Communicate carrier decisions, including difficult ones, directly to clients.
- Navigate multiple carrier and CRM portals daily to process eligibility changes and ID card requests.
- Respond to client and internal requests promptly and accurately.
- Escalate issues to carrier representatives when appropriate.
